Parnabys Super Atlantic The Story begins

The Parnabys started life in the Swiss Army before working for various Heavy Haulage companies before ending up as Parnabys and in Dave Weedons safe hands.

 

                                                        

 

It is not clear who had acquired the Super Atlantic from the Swiss army before it  whent to  Plant & Machinery of Doncaster

( Any one with information on this period please contact us).

Q43GFR then whent  to Walkers machinery of Oxford who moved it on to R H Baines along with the rotinoff which JCB used to own (now in Malta)Baines then sold it on to Parnabys where it worked for few years before AJ Smith purchased it

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

 

 

Dave Weedon Acquires Q43 GFR and starts the restoration

The truck looked good from the outside but due to the use of fibre wool insulation between the skins when originally built this absorbed water causing  rot to go unseen for many years,

   Parnabys after a 2yr break from been seen in public (due to broken drive  shaft)
